Production Planner
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Production Planner for one of our top clients in Raynham, MA.
As a Production Planner placed with KellyOCG you will be responsible for the following:
- Production Planner: Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes.
- Analyzes product demand, sales patterns, forecasts. production specifications and plant capacity data.
- Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production spec.
- Review s support documents for scheduling which includes ordering route sheets, entering all requirements into the computer, and so on.
- Monitor s planning modules or production planning system with current lead times, and related information.
- Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish to ensure the on-time delivery of products.
- Review s capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints.
- Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches.
- Expedites and secures parts needed for production.
- Ensures timely ordering and delivery of components to support manufacturing activities.
- Prepares production reports.
- Analyzes month end activity to determine the need for forecast modification.
- Recommends revisions.
- Participates in new product launch meetings and assist in developing new product forecasts and production schedules.
- Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirement.
- Identifies raw material and component requirement for production.
- Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent strong data analysis /analytics, advanced Excel, dashboards, SAP desired
- Requires 4-6 Years Work Experience
