Extrusion Technician

Location: Barrington, NH
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00pm–7:00am
Pay: $23–$28 per hour
Type: Full-time, Temp-Hire

Job Overview

Join a custom manufacturer in a team-based environment as an Extrusion Technician! Previous experience is required for this great opportunity.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate plastic extrusion machines in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements

  • Adjust and clean machines as needed

  • Inspect products for quality

  • Document work performed

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous extrusion or molding experience preferred

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Familiarity with:

    • Extruders, water tanks, pullers and cutters

    • Die tooling and sizers

    • Various types of plastic resins (preferred, but not required)


  • Self-motivated team player with strong critical thinking skills

  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and diagrams

  • Basic math, writing, and computer skills

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently and stand throughout a 12-hour shift
