What’s a typical day as Supply Chain Technician? You’ll be:
- Responding to service tickets and requests by adding vendors in the enterprise database, ensuring information is verified with proper documentation and approvals
- Maintaining and updating vendor master information based on incoming service requests
- Conducting screenings and validations as required or upon request
- Communicating critical information to stakeholders regarding supplier status, such as bankruptcy and debarment
- Compiling and sending monthly reports to stakeholders about vendor activity
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives and other special projects as assigned
- Referencing written work instructions for daily job activities
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have experience in material handling, supply chain, or vendor management (must have)
- Are detail-oriented and able to follow written work instructions accurately (must have)
- Possess strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement (must have)
- Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently (preferred)
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment (preferred)
- Can commit to a full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm schedule (must have)
