CNC Machinist – Dymax | Wamego, KS Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm | Paid for 40 hours

Compensation:
- Starting at $20 per hour for recent graduates
- Higher pay available based on experience and skill level
- Weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm); paid for 40 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal mills
- Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances (GD&T), and work instructions
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits
- Inspect work using precision measurement tools
- Prioritize jobs, support continuous improvement, ensure safety, and collaborate across teams
Requirements:
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (setup & operation)
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC program editing (G code), multi-axis/horizontal machining, and MRP/ERP systems
- Background in heavy equipment or high-tolerance production
