Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00 per hour

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

  • Safely transporting products, raw materials, and supplies throughout the facility using a forklift

  • Reading and interpreting shipping schedules, staging doors, and sorting products by specified criteria for shipping

  • Conducting pre-shift inspections of forklifts, fueling as necessary, and ensuring operational compliance

  • Staging finished products for shipping and consolidating orders to prepare for shipment

  • Receiving and shipping items accurately while maintaining attention to detail and following safety procedures

  • Replacing pallets/runners and maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Organizing and maintaining detailed records related to shipping and receiving

  • Directing the activities of warehouse attendants and operators to expedite material loading and unloading

  • Performing other related duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent (can be waived for experienced candidates)

  • Bring 2-3 years of proven forklift operation experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Are able to read and write English and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities

  • Are self-driven, accountable, honest, and have a strong work ethic

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills

  • Can work well independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Have solid analytical skills and the ability to multi-task effectively

  • Are able to lift up to 50+ lbs. and mount/dismount a forklift throughout the shift

  • Can maintain regular attendance and punctuality

  • (Preferred) Have intermediate computer skills in MS Office and experience with fast, accurate data entry
