Warehouse Receiver (Refrigerated Warehouse) 
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:30am
Location: Reading, PA 19605
Pay Rate: $18/hr 

 


Join our team in a critical role as a Warehouse Receiver within our refrigerated distribution center! You’ll be responsible for managing inbound cold-chain inventory, maintaining food-safe storage protocols, and ensuring that frozen and refrigerated goods meet all quality and temperature standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Temperature Monitoring & Quality Control: Verify trailer and product temperatures (frozen/chilled) upon arrival to ensure quality.

  • Inbound Inspection: Check packing slips and invoices against purchase orders for accuracy, cleanliness, and quantity.

  • Unloading & Sorting: Safely unload trailers using motorized pallet jacks or forklifts, often in cold environments.

  • Inventory Documentation: Log all arriving stock into our Warehouse Management System (WMS) using RF scanners for accurate inventory records.

  • Storage Rotation: Apply FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures to minimize spoilage.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA, AIB, and food safety guidelines, wearing appropriate PPE for cold storage.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

  • Able to consistently work in freezer and refrigerated conditions

  • Capable of lifting items frequently exceeding 50 lbs.

  • Comfortable operating forklifts and pallet jacks

  • Commitment to workplace safety and food quality standards
