Kelly Engineering has an exciting long term contract CMM Programmer role with an industry leader experiencing dynamic growth in the Elmira, NY area. This role offers a full benefits package and significant opportunities for company growth in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs inspection and testing of components using manual gaging and automated systems, including CMMs and vision systems
- Develops, validates, and maintains CMM and automated inspection programs to support first article, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Performs complex measurement, analysis, and documentation to ensure products meet established specifications and quality requirements.
- Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and design transfer activities through inspection planning, automated inspection method development, and validation
- Participates in root cause analysis and formulates corrective and preventive action recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with CMM operation and programming required (Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, or similar platforms).
- Experience with interpreting technical drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing required
