We’re seeking a Forklift Operator to work at a premier manufacturing facility in Janesville, WI 53546. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$20 per hour / Contract Opportunity / Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm / Overtime as needed, including Saturdays

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating a stand-up forklift to safely transport products, raw materials, and supplies throughout the manufacturing facility.

  • Reading and interpreting shipping schedules to effectively stage, sort, and stack products for shipping.

  • Conducting pre-shift inspections of forklifts and fueling equipment as required.

  • Pulling production wrap lines, consolidating orders for shipment, and staging wrapped items.

  • Receiving materials into the facility and ensuring items are shipped accurately to customers.

  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and replacing pallets as necessary.

  • Paying strong attention to detail when handling orders and shipping documents.

  • Performing additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned, maintaining accurate and organized records.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have prior forklift operation experience in a manufacturing environment—Stand-up lift experience required.

  • Possess 2-3 years’ experience in the field or a related area.

  • Can effectively read, write, and communicate in English.

  • Demonstrate solid teamwork abilities and a strong work ethic.

  • Are able to regularly mount and dismount forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

  • Understand and follow all operational and safety SOPs as written.
