Role Overview

The Production Operator is a critical member of our manufacturing team, responsible for the safe and efficient handling of raw materials and the packaging of finished goods. This is a Temp-to-Hire role, offering a pathway to a permanent career with a global industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Charge raw materials into blending operations and move materials between warehousing and production areas.

  
  

• Equipment Operation: Operate industrial machinery including mixers, blenders, furnaces, and mills.

  
  

• Packaging: Package and palletize finished products according to customer specifications.

  
  

• Quality Assurance: Perform in-process quality checks (density testing, particle sizing) and maintain accurate batch records/lot numbers.

  
  

• Facility Maintenance: Maintain high housekeeping standards (sweeping, shoveling, and cleaning equipment) to ensure a hazard-free environment.

  
  

• Logistics: Regularly operate forklifts or pallet jacks to move heavy materials (training provided).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Safety Mindset: A “Safety First” attitude with the ability to strictly follow EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols.

  
  

• Respirator Requirement: This role requires the ability to pass a pulmonary function test and wear a respirator on occasion (provided by the company) due to dust or fumes.

  
  

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, shovel, and lift up to 55 lbs continuously throughout a 10-hour shift.

  
  

• Environment: Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled (hot/cold) industrial plant environment.

  
  

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  
  

• Reliability: Strong attendance record and the flexibility to work Saturdays when production demands increase.
