Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 7:30pm-6:00am, Thursday 5:30pm-4:00am
What’s a typical day as Welder – 1G Flat Weld? You’ll be:
- Performing GMAW (Mig) welding, primarily steel welding, using 1G flat weld techniques
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality
- Using measuring devices accurately to meet project specifications
- Standing in one place for extended periods while maintaining high productivity
- Lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively, with frequent twisting and bending
- Working both indoors and outdoors, adapting to all weather conditions
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Bring prior welding experience and/or certification (required)
- Are experienced with Mig welding and can pass a welding test
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting physical demands
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team
- Can read blueprints and use measuring devices accurately
- Are able to withstand all weather conditions
