Kelly Science and Clinical has a new opportunity for a Lab Technician in Lafayette, IN with a leading specialty chemical company!
Job Title: Lab Technician (contract)
Location: Lafayette, IN
Shift: Day (Mon-Fri)
Length of Assignment: Open Ended
Rate: $20/hr. or $41,600 annual equivalent + benefits
Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive analytical testing on incoming raw materials utilizing a variety of techniques including, but not limited to, UV/Vis, IR, HPLC, GC, TOC, and microbial analysis.

Accurately weigh and receive samples, ensuring proper documentation and tracking within the LIMS system.

Adhere to strict waste disposal protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Efficiently manage inventory and place material orders as needed.

Perform routine instrument calibration and assist with inventory control.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred; minimum of one year of relevant laboratory experience considered.

Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Demonstrated proficiency in following detailed written procedures and protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
