Material Handling Specialist
Location:
Franklin , NH
Pay Rate: $23-25 or above based on experience
Shift differentials (10% for 2nd shift, 15% for 3rd Shift) 

  • 1st Shift: 7am-3pm (Monday-Friday                                           

  • 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm (Monday-Friday)

  • 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am (Sunday-Thursday

Position Summary:
The Material Handling Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, counting, issuing, and transacting equipment, materials, products, supplies, tools, and inventories to support plant operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Receive materials and products.

  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and picker trucks as required.

  • Pick materials according to established procedures.

  • Package and ship products efficiently.

  • Operate scanning equipment for inventory management.

  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories as required.

  • Perform DO system transactions and adhere to established procedures.

  • Ensure a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain.

  • Assist with machine operation, assembly, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

 

Experience and Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of related experience in material handling or a similar role.

  • Proficient math skills.

  • Basic computer skills to perform computer-related transactions.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Required Licensing/Certifications:

  • None required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear.

  • Occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
