Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% onsite)
Contract Duration: Up to 18 months
Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier
Hours: Sun – Tues, every other Sat 6:00p – 6:00a
Pay Rate: $37/hr
Manufacturing Equipment Technicians perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues in nonfunctioning electromechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. They dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings. Technicians may also perform equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance, and support engineering experiments by executing defined test plans and collecting equipment performance data. In addition, they respond to equipment alarms and system faults, diagnose issues, and execute established recovery checklists to restore equipment to normal operation.
•Work is performed within generally defined parameters.
•Some degree of judgment is required to resolve nonstandard problems.
•General instructions are provided for most work.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Mathematics)
2+ years of experience in semiconductor processing/manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience with semiconductor equipment maintenance and
troubleshooting skills
