*Company is currently located in Norwood but moving to Foxborough in May 2026
Kelly is seeking an Inside Customer Account Manager to work with our client, a global manufacturing leader, on a temp-to-hire or direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company that has been successful for over 38 years and continues to grow!
The Inside Customer Account Manager will:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as their main contact for all inquiries and needs
- Provide timely and effective communication to address customer questions, concerns, and requests
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes based on customer-provided specifications, drawings, and requirements
- Accurately process customer orders from initiation through to delivery, including coordination with internal teams
- Work closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Foster and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for account growth and new sales
- Track and report on customer orders, sales progress, and account statuses
- Quickly identify and resolve any issues related to orders, delivery, or product quality
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records in CRM and other relevant systems
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and close sales deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
- Provide basic technical assistance related to product specifications and applications
- Check inventory availability and communicate delivery timelines
- Verify and adjust prices, ensuring accuracy
- Maintain sales order master files, customer lists, and purchase orders
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years in account management, customer service, or inside sales roles, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
- Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Team-oriented with a proactive, customer-focused approach
- High level of accuracy in order processing and data management
- Professional phone manners and excellent written communication skills
