Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable and motivated General Laborers to join our team in a fast-paced, onsite food packaging and warehouse environment. As a General Laborer, you will assist in a variety of manual tasks to support daily operations. This includes sorting, repairing, and disposing of pallets, cleaning and refueling company vehicles, unloading and restacking goods, relabeling products, and supporting general warehouse and production activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, repair, and/or dispose of pallets as necessary
- Clean, wash, and refuel trucks and trailers
- Unload trailers and properly handle products and materials
- Relabel, restack, and package cases or pallets of food products
- Operate and assist with specialized machinery, such as cryovac machines
- Push meat into processing equipment (“the horn”) and bag product safely
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, especially in cold environments (32°–37° F)
- Perform additional manual labor or support tasks as assigned
Work Environment:
- Cold storage facility (32°–37° F)
- All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided, including coats and boots
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (entire shift)
- Must be punctual, self-motivated, and a reliable team player
- Previous experience in similar roles or food industry preferred, but not required
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in packaging, warehouse, or general labor
- Food industry background is a plus
