Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18-19/hour

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:
- Administering and operating the organization’s warehouse, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Accounting for all materials in the distribution center and performing receipt, storage, and shipment of materials according to established procedures.
- Preparing and coordinating schedules for domestic shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Ensuring effective operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance/protection of facilities and equipment.
- Operating electric/fuel-based forklifts to load and unload trucks and performing material movement transactions in SAP/ERP systems.
- Maintaining adherence to workplace organization programs (5S, EHS) for your assigned area.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma (required).
- Possess less than 1 year of relevant experience in a warehouse or material handling environment (no prior experience required).
- Hold a valid driver’s license (required).
- Are comfortable performing operational or manual tasks in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Work well under close supervision and are willing to follow clearly defined methods and procedures.
- Forklift Experience
- Are able to lift heavy Items at times
