Administrative Assistant Details:

  • Payrate: $16.72/hr

  • Location: Phoenix AZ 85012

  • Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

  • Work Set Up: Onsite (This position has potential of going hybrid after training)

  • Employment Type: 11-12 month contract

What’s a typical day as an Administrative Assistant?

You will:

  • Operate switchboard systems to answer, direct, and transfer incoming calls efficiently.

  • Manage visitor check-ins, take messages, provide information, and maintain records.

  • Handle emergency calls, monitor alarms, manage paging systems, sort mail, and deliver basic customer service.

  • Locate specialized doctors near claimants, schedule consultative exams (CE), and coordinate all exam correspondence.

  • Respond to inquiries about claim status or transportation assistance, including mailing bus passes and updating interested parties.

  • Contact claimants, attorney representatives, medical sources, and others as directed for case development and tracking.

  • Ensure daily assignments are managed and tracked for completion.

  • Perform case development activities requiring analytical skills and judgment.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • Experience in customer service with both internal and external clients.

  • Scheduling and front desk experience.

  • Strong computer skills.
