Location: Cleveland, OH
We are seeking a high-caliber Chemistry Laboratory Manager to lead our technical and operational activities. This is a pivotal role where your expertise in automated chemistry testing and your ability to mentor the next generation of scientists will directly impact patient care.

The Compensation Package
- Annual Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (Based on experience and certifications)
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
- Relocation Assistance: Comprehensive support available for those moving to the area.
- Performance Bonus: Eligible for annual incentive plans.
Core Responsibilities
As the Laboratory Manager, you hold the keys to operational integrity and staff development.
- Strategic Leadership: Plan and direct all laboratory work, serving as a vital liaison between departments.
- Quality & Compliance: Oversee QA programs and EHS standards; ensure the lab remains “inspection-ready” for CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA.
- Mentorship: Hire, train, and develop staff, identifying future leaders through performance coaching.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the annual budget, drive process improvements, and manage the test database.
- Innovation: Coordinate R&D activities and participate in corporate subspecialty committees.
Education & Certification:
- BS Degree (Chemistry or Medical Laboratory Science preferred).
- C (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification is required.
Experience:
- 8+ years of clinical laboratory experience (specifically in automated chemistry testing).
- 4+ years of direct supervisory/management experience.
Schedule:
- Standard Mon–Fri, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Flexibility required for extended hours as needed).
