Job Title: Production Operator I
Location: Wilsonville, OR
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour


Position Summary

The Production Operator I is an entry-level role responsible for performing routine, repetitive manufacturing tasks under close supervision. This position supports various production processes, including wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and coil production. The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic production operations such as wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and coil production

  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures

  • Accurately measure materials and components using rulers and other tools

  • Inspect small parts visually and with microscopes to ensure quality standards are met

  • Record production data and measurements with a high level of accuracy

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

  • Sit for extended periods (60–75% of the time) or stand for full shifts, depending on assignment

  • Perform light lifting and carrying of materials (up to 20 lbs)

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of machining or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail with solid documentation skills

  • Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction, using both English and metric measurement systems

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety, instructions, and documentation

  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions from supervisors

  • Experience using basic hand and power tools

  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts

  • Strong visual acuity (corrected vision acceptable)

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to read blueprints is a plus
