Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Customer Relations Specialist for our client in Bolingbrook, IL. Candidates must have excellent work history, working for a 3PL. Must have experience with:

  • Account Management

  • Customer Service

  • 3PL

  • Logistics Coordination

  • WMS, ERP, or CRM

Pay: $22 – $26/hr
Hours:   Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm

Position summary:
The Customer Relations Specialist serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients. This role ensures accurate communication, timely issue resolution, and high customer satisfaction across order fulfillment, shipping, inventory, and account activity. The specialist works closely with warehouse, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure client expectations are met and service levels remain consistent.

Job Description:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, inventory, shipments, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

  • Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, and shipping teams to resolve discrepancies or service issues.

  • Monitor order flow and proactively communicate delays or potential issues to clients.

  • Enter and maintain accurate order and client information in ERP, WMS, or CRM systems.

  • Assist with onboarding new clients by gathering required information, documenting processes, and supporting implementation activities.

  • Track and report key service metrics, including order accuracy, response times, and issue resolution.

  • Investigate and document customer complaints, shortages, damages, or shipping errors, and follow through to resolution.

  • Maintain organized records of client communications, service agreements, and operational procedures.

  • Participate in regular client check-ins, account reviews, or service meetings as needed.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in business, logistics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of customer service, logistics coordination, or account support experience preferred.

  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is strongly preferred; however, experience in a 3PL environment is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Experience using Extensive WMS, ERP, or CRM systems preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
