Customer Service Representative – Medical Agency
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay Rate: Up to $23/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (Standard Business Hours)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire, Regular Full-Time

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support our client, a well-respected medical agency located in Honolulu, HI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity—showcase your skills and commitment to potentially transition into a permanent role with the client company!


What You’ll Do

  • Respond to customer inquiries: Address eligibility, benefits, and claims questions via incoming/outgoing calls, email, or walk-ins.

  • Resolve issues efficiently: Provide timely and accurate information, coordinating with other insurance carriers when needed.

  • Claims support: Assist with data entry, claims adjudication up to Level 2, and support the claims processing team.

  • Documentation & compliance: Adhere to company policies and handle all information confidentially and in line with federal/state regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PHI).

  • Administrative tasks: Complete routine paperwork, handle special projects, and offer back-up support as needed.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 1 year experience in clerical work, customer service, or sales – or a combination of education and relevant experience

  • Experience in high call volume environments preferred

  • Proficiency with PC applications such as word processing and spreadsheets is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and commitment to follow-through

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
