Compensation: $21.00 per hour (1-year CONTRACT)

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday, with possibility of OT

What’s a typical day as Material Coordinator? You’ll be:

  • Directing the activities of pickers to ensure accurate and timely order delivery

  • Utilizing warehouse management systems to track picking progress and update order statuses

  • Addressing issues such as missing items, damaged goods, or system errors promptly to minimize delays

  • Tracking productivity metrics and reporting results to supervisors; recommending improvements where needed

  • Working primarily in Deere’s mainframe/menu driven systems, DNS (Dealer Network System), WCS, and occasionally using Excel

  • Assisting with the implementation of the new SAP/EWM system into the PDC

  • Training as a backup to cover all duties in the department

  • Driving a John Deere owned Cushman on the shop floor after successful training

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have exceptional data entry speed and accuracy, with the ability to stay focused for long periods

  • Are self-motivated to help coworkers during slow periods

  • Bring experience with inventory systems, tools, or AS400 programs (troubleshooting inventory issues is key)

  • Possess strong attention to detail, timeliness, and a stellar attendance record—critical for keeping operations running

  • Have excellent people skills to manage and support a department of up to 50 employees on 2nd shift

  • Are comfortable being on your feet for the majority of your shift and can wear metatarsal boots

  • Do not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future, for this position
