Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- $21.00/hr (Day Shift)
- $22.00/hr (Night Shift)

What’s a typical day as Band Weld Operator? You’ll be:
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment including automatic band cutters, welders, grinders, and annealers to produce finished band saw blades.
- Receiving coil stock, cutting material to size, adjusting welding machines, and performing welding operations based on established specifications.
- Transferring welded blades to grinders, performing visual checks for proper weld and alignment, and removing welding flash using grinding equipment.
- Maintaining equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and completing required documentation and maintenance logs.
- Observing all safety rules and employing all necessary safety equipment and devices.
- Running a wide-width band weld line and performing related duties as required in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
- Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Are comfortable with the use of numbers, including decimals.
- Can perform light physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, or pulling 5 to 25 pounds.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Are attentive to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Thrive in a dynamic, innovative, and supportive team environment.
