Dental Cashier/Auditing Clerk
$17.65/hour
Our client has an immediate opening for a Dental Cashier/Auditing Clerk in a temporary-to-hire position! In this role, you’ll support the financial administration of patient accounts, process charges and payments, post data to our dental software, and act as a critical resource for students, faculty, and patients. You’ll also work closely with cash handling, data entry, and insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post and process payments and charges to patient accounts using AxiUm.
- Verify treatment plan accuracy, prepare deposits, and maintain financial records.
- Assist with insurance, Medicaid paperwork, and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Support daily office operations and serve as a resource for students on clinical protocol.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office or customer service setting, including cash handling.
- Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical records; experience with AxiUm or dental software preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must consistently practice confidentiality, honesty, and professionalism.
