Position: Inspector
Job Type: Hourly
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Shift: 1st (6 AM – 4:30 PM)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Job Summary
As an Inspector, you will work collaboratively on a production team to meet goals around racking, inspection, sorting, packaging, and labeling. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality finishes.
Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain professionalism at all times while on the production floor

Learn and understand production processes related to inspection

Identify and categorize plating defects with precision
-
Accurately enter inspection data into computer systems
-
Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members
-
Receive training on new parts and product requirements
-
Operate plant equipment and organize materials
-
Perform final packaging and labeling of products
-
Adhere to handling and palletizing procedures
-
Assist with material handling, inventory, sorting, and racking tasks

Attach products to racks according to specific instructions

Respond quickly to other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Basic computer proficiency
-
Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 70 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
-
Must wear close-toed shoes; comfortable working in hot/humid plant conditions

Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures

Equivalent relevant experience required
