What’s a typical day as Technical Lead / Project Design Authority? You’ll be:
- Serving as the primary technical leader for the design and implementation of multiple projects
- Managing and delivering customized solutions that meet high quality and security standards
- Leading engineering teams through project execution, deployment, and integration of Identity and Biometric solutions
- Supporting the Project Manager in scheduling, reporting, and cross-functional coordination
- Approving project engineering reviews and deliverables, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with contractual requirements
- Leading customer workshops, technical discussions, and demos
- Translating customer needs into functional specifications and solution-level requirements
- Organizing and leading technical meetings, peer reviews, and steering committees
- Identifying and managing technical risks, quality, and security action plans
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (required)
- Have extensive experience leading technical projects in identity, biometrics, or similar technology domains
- Are skilled in solution architecture, requirements definition, and technical documentation
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Have U.S. or Dual Citizenship and are able to obtain post-hire clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investments in the U.S. (CFIUS) and Department of Treasury (required)
- Are comfortable working onsite in Austin, TX and collaborating across multiple engineering teams
