What’s a typical day as Technical Lead / Project Design Authority? You’ll be:

  • Serving as the primary technical leader for the design and implementation of multiple projects

  • Managing and delivering customized solutions that meet high quality and security standards

  • Leading engineering teams through project execution, deployment, and integration of Identity and Biometric solutions

  • Supporting the Project Manager in scheduling, reporting, and cross-functional coordination

  • Approving project engineering reviews and deliverables, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with contractual requirements

  • Leading customer workshops, technical discussions, and demos

  • Translating customer needs into functional specifications and solution-level requirements

  • Organizing and leading technical meetings, peer reviews, and steering committees

  • Identifying and managing technical risks, quality, and security action plans

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (required)

  • Have extensive experience leading technical projects in identity, biometrics, or similar technology domains

  • Are skilled in solution architecture, requirements definition, and technical documentation

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Have U.S. or Dual Citizenship and are able to obtain post-hire clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investments in the U.S. (CFIUS) and Department of Treasury (required)

  • Are comfortable working onsite in Austin, TX and collaborating across multiple engineering teams
