What’s a typical day as Materials Planner? You’ll be:

  • Forecasting demand for all materials needed to support product lines across the Aviation Global Services business.

  • Serving as the primary liaison between Program Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Sales, Procurement, and Repair Stations to ensure accurate multi-year forecasts are maintained.

  • Ensuring all teams are aligned with a unified demand outlook to support Spares, Maintenance, and Repairs requirements.

  • Establishing and maintaining inventory plans to ensure material availability and compliance with industry regulations (AS9100, FAA, DOT, and others).

  • Reviewing and implementing MRP actions and making key inventory and production decisions.

  • Generating and managing Planned Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Production Orders.

  • Analyzing inventory data, reviewing Engineering Change Orders, and mitigating risks related to material obsolescence.

  • Collaborating with leadership to complete annual budget reviews, contract reviews, and provide data-driven recommendations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent education and work experience).

  • Have 1-3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and interpret material demand.

  • Demonstrate experience with inventory planning, MRP systems, and ERP processes.

  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Have knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (preferred but not required).
