Billing Associate – Entry Level (Temporary – 6+ Months)
Rate: $24/hour
Location: San Dimas, CA (Remote)- MUST LIVE IN CA TO PICKUP EQUIPMENT 

Working hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM


About the Role
Looking for a detail-focused, numbers-driven professional ready to launch or grow a career in billing and finance? This Billing Associate role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a structured, high-volume billing environment while working with Excel, financial data, and cross-company transactions.


What You’ll Do

  • Process Authorizations between two companies following established billing procedures

  • Review incoming documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with billing standards

  • Perform Excel-based calculations to verify pricing, percentages, and transaction data

  • Cross-check data against internal databases and pole records

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies through email, phone, or memo communication with supervisors

  • Collaborate with billing leadership to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency

  • Maintain high-volume production standards (approx. 200 poles per day)

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios, fractions)

  • Basic to intermediate Excel knowledge (formulas, data entry, calculations) Required

  • At least 1 year of billing, finance, bookkeeping, or data-heavy experience

  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy with numerical data

  • Ability to follow structured procedures and meet strict deadlines

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Comfortable handling feedback, learning quickly, and improving accuracy over time

  • Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM and accurate 10-key skills

Technical Requirements (Remote Work Ready)

  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)

  • Stable connection with minimal downtime for Teams communication and file processing

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
