Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.50 per hour

2nd shift-4:00pm – 2:00am Monday thru Thursday

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator Line Lead? You’ll be:

  • Supplying all necessary materials to machines and operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual carts

  • Coordinating and scheduling production runs to efficiently meet customer demands

  • Making accurate entries for production, scrap, and bin movement in Masterpack

  • Conducting line changeovers and performing first piece inspections for quality assurance

  • Following detailed work instructions, safety and PPE procedures, OSHA standards, Environmental Health/Safety rules, and ISO requirements

  • Maintaining a clean, safe workplace; complying with 5S organizational procedures

  • Achieving daily production/output targets and consistently meeting quality and safety standards

  • Coaching, directing, and training employees, collaborating with leadership and quality teams on issues

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have previous manufacturing experience (required)

  • Have operated a forklift and can read measurements accurately (essential)

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred)

  • Demonstrate proficiency in tape measure use and basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals)

  • Can read, interpret instructions, and communicate effectively in English (preferred)

  • Have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, and show adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • Are physically able to stand, perform repetitive motions, lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand/eye coordination

  • 2 years of lead/ supervisory experience
