Compensation: $75,000/year + 5% Annual Bonus potential
Location: Indianapolis, IN

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Production Supervisor, Batching & Compounding who leads by example. In this role, you won’t just manage schedules; you will work side-by-side with your team of compounders, material handlers, and sanitizers to ensure batching is completed safely, efficiently, and to exact specifications.
Our organization produces over 2,500 different aerosol and liquid products, ranging from personal care to automotive lubricants. We prioritize a culture of safety, equity, and professional development.
Core Responsibilities
People Leadership & Team Support
- Lead by Influence: Support, coach, and mentor technicians to build skill and ownership rather than just giving commands.
- Drive Performance: Own compounding KPIs, including “batch right-first-time,” deviations, and rework.
- Resource Management: Organize daily activities to ensure materials and personnel are aligned with production needs.
- Maintenance: Submit work orders for equipment repairs and ensure the team has the proper tools to succeed.
Hands-On Operations
- Active Compounding: Spend the majority of the shift on the floor performing cosmetic compounding and batching according to SOPs.
- Logistics: Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) to move raw materials and finished batches.
- Execution: Assist with weighing, staging, and transferring raw materials while ensuring full GMP compliance and documentation traceability.
Problem Solving & Improvement
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate process or quality issues using data and trends rather than assumptions.
- Innovation: Contribute ideas to improve safety, consistency, and yield.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience leading and managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with batching equipment (pressures, temperatures, RPMs) and experience with hot pours, emulsions, and cold products.
- Certifications: High School Diploma/GED required; PIT certification (or ability to obtain one) is a must.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to provide instructions and maintain accurate production records.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and reaching in a fast-paced environment.
Why Join Us?
We offer a robust benefits package designed to support your health, wealth, and future:
- Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans.
- Financial Security: 401(k) with company match; Company-paid Life and Short-Term Disability insurance.
- Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO) and stable Monday–Friday scheduling.
- Growth: Bonus incentive programs based on individual and organizational performance.
