Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor / Lead
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities Team in West Melbourne, FL. This role is responsible for day-to-day maintenance, housekeeping, and repairs within our facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The Maintenance Worker coordinates closely with Facilities leadership to complete work orders, perform scheduled maintenance, and respond to facility emergencies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily work orders with Facilities Supervisor/Lead.
- Practice excellent housekeeping and custodial standards throughout the facility.
- Empty trash cans, mop cafeteria and restrooms, replenish paper products, vacuum offices and high-traffic areas, etc.

- Ensure janitorial supplies are maintained and well stocked in all facility areas.
- Perform basic repair and maintenance of production equipment.
- Adhere to preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies as required.
- Safely set up and operate tools and equipment necessary for assigned tasks.
- Conduct minor landscaping and hardscaping on exterior grounds.
- Assist with office and production line moves in close coordination with the Facilities team.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and surrounding spaces.
- Operate manned lifts (lift training required) and use an eight-foot step ladder for various duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years’ experience in facilities maintenance or housekeeping preferred.
- Forklift and scissor lift certifications preferred, or ability to become certified.
- Working knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting is desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot, assess, and implement solutions independently.
- OSHA training preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable interacting with staff at all organizational levels.
- Hands-on team player, used to working in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Excellent attendance record required.
