Job Title: Treasury Coordinator
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in finance, or a recent graduate looking to begin a career in treasury and banking operations. The Treasury Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our global treasury operations, providing assistance to treasury management and analysts, managing the global treasury inbox, and serving as a back-up for the Americas Netting Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Global Treasury Inbox: research, respond to, and delegate queries to appropriate Treasury team members; ensure all requests are tracked and archived.
- Assist Treasury Management and Treasury Analysts with bank reconcilement tasks and research requests.
- Carefully review and validate payment requests, ensuring proper authorization and compliance prior to processing.
- Enter payment requests into multiple online banking platforms, adhering to treasury control procedures and validation requirements.
- Prepare various bank forms, including certified check requests, return authorization letters, and check affidavit forms.
- Support the monthly intercompany netting process, including payment file uploads, reporting, and payment tracking for North and Latin America.
- Serve as a back-up for positive pay exceptions (check and ACH) and netting coordination (including one weekday and one weekend per month as part of backup support).
- Maintain updated and accurate repetitive payment instructions, and assist with internal bank signature audits.
- Electronically archive Treasury correspondence and documentation.
- Conduct proactive research and analysis of Treasury Inbox issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Build and analyze spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
- Participate in other treasury-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; open to current college students or recent graduates in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred—maximum pay rate applies only to candidates with a completed degree.
- Preferred certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or interest in pursuing relevant certification.
- Familiarity with basic financial concepts and online banking platforms is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Six months project
Additional Details:
- The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Occasional support outside these hours may be required (one weekday and one weekend per month for netting back-up).
