Position Overview:
Seeking a skilled Welder who is experienced in both GMAW hand welding and robotic weld cell operation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with production drawings, maintaining high quality standards, and is motivated to grow within the organization, with advancement opportunities into Lead Welder and Weld Technician roles.
Position Information:
• Perform GMAW (MIG) hand welding on parts and subassemblies according to production drawings and weld procedures
• Prepare, position, align, and fit components using fixtures to ensure quality welds
• Program and operate robotic weld cells, including job setup, minor adjustments, and troubleshooting
• Use measurement equipment to inspect and verify conformance of welded parts and assemblies
• Maintain robotic weld cells, including scheduled maintenance and minor repairs
• Complete all required quality documentation and production records
• Support the production team by resolving hand welding and robotic cell-related issues
• Communicate proactively regarding equipment status, safety concerns, and production issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of welding and weld cell operation
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety procedures
• Perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting to 50 pounds
Required Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in GMAW welding.
• At least 1 year of experience operating robotic weld cells, set-up & programming experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents
• Familiarity with weld fixtures, set-up procedures, and inspection tools
