  • Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00am – 4:30pm


  • Pay Rate: $52.50/hour


  • Employment Type: Contract (48 months) – Temp to Hire


? What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct complex technical studies and operational analyses to recommend improvements in manufacturing processes, equipment, and production methods.

  • Author detailed work and rework instructions (including MBOMs in SAP/Solumina/Corridor and DRDI/DMT guidelines) to enhance efficiency and ensure product quality during assembly or installation.

  • Lead or coordinate implementation of process improvement projects across multiple functions, applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Perform productibility studies and statistical analyses to identify opportunities for process optimization, supporting design for manufacturing initiatives and equipment/facility justification.

  • Support make-or-buy decisions, evaluate and liaise with vendors, and help resolve vendor-related or manufacturing issues as they arise.

? What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 18 months of experience in manufacturing engineering, planning, or related technical discipline.

  • Proven knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles, with hands-on application in manufacturing settings.

  • Proficiency with production systems and software (e.g., SAP, Solumina, Corridor, CADAM, CATIA) and ability to interpret engineering blueprints and technical documentation.

  • Strong understanding of engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, and shop math.
