Customer Support Representative I
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: DOE; typically $18.50–$20.00/hour
- Additional compensation: $300–$400/month after hire (Level 1)
- Levels 2 and 3 also available, with opportunities for advancement
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid sick/vacation time, and 401(k) matching up to 6%
Shift Details
- 3 openings: Third shift (10pm – 6am)
- 2 openings: Second shift (10am – 6pm) or (12pm – 8pm), Mon–Fri
- Must complete 1 week of day shift training
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to internal and external clients:
- Take customer orders and give pricing information
- Conduct consultative sales and explain service benefits
- Assist with procurement of capacity and monitor service on requests and shipments
- Take customer orders and give pricing information
- Anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and resolve issues appropriately
- Support new and existing customer accounts to foster business development
- Communicate business opportunities to the Sales Support department
- Update customers about shipments via phone, email, or web platforms
- Ensure high accuracy in order documentation
- Monitor shipments for on-time delivery
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Positive team player attitude and strong individual initiative
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer knowledge
- Strong prioritization, organization, and active listening skills
