Kelly® is seeking a skilled Controls System Administrator to support a leading oil and gas client in Cicero, IL. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee and maintain key information and control systems within the plant while ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and driving process improvements. This is an onsite position with opportunities to make meaningful impacts on business systems, plant efficiencies, and compliance standards.

  • Lont-term contract

  • ONSITE role—remote work is not available

  • Maximum pay rate: $40 per hour

  • PPE (safety shoes) required

Responsibilities
Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS)

  • Support controls activities (including audit planning, staff training, and access reviews)

  • Collaborate with Fixed Asset team; help verify and support annual plant asset ledger

  • Maintain and improve controls standards onsite

  • Develop and update procedures and systems to meet/exceed control requirements

  • Communicate policies and updates to promote CIMS

Hydrocarbon Control Practices (HCP)

  • Manage Calibration Tracking System Database tasks

  • Notify the plant of HCP procedure changes

  • Maintain inventory for fiscal and related equipment

  • Facilitate equipment calibrations and checks, ensure documentation accuracy

Records Management Guidelines (RMG)

  • Coordinate records clean-up and control retention schedules (paper/electronic)

  • Advocate and consult on business/systems controls and records guidelines

  • Oversee proper records retention and contract compliance review

Industrial Control Systems Requirements (ICSR)

  • Track and maintain compliance as directed by the control systems catalogue and calendar

  • Manage system deviations and ensure exception controls

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, Economics, or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information/record management, system controls, and data analysis

  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Leadership, initiative, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a diverse environment

  • Advanced MS Excel (data validation, charting) and intermediate Microsoft Office (Publisher, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Key competencies: Effective communication, teamwork, cultural awareness, analytical thinking, operational integrity, and change management
