Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Worker
Location: Missouri City, TX (77489)
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Job Type: Temporary-perm
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Role Overview
We are looking for a focused and reliable Shipping/Receiving Worker to join the distribution team This role is critical for ensuring that electrical products are accurately processed and shipped to customers on time. If you have a strong eye for detail and enjoy a fast-paced warehouse environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment: Assemble and fill customer orders, verifying quantities and item descriptions against invoices.

Logistics Support: Load and unload common carriers and company vehicles; prepare shipments for UPS/LTL.

Documentation: Process shipping paperwork, apply correct postage/tapes, and complete Bill of Lading (BOL) information for LTL shipments.

Warehouse Operations: Use scanners for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to pick orders and put away material after receipt.

Quality Control: Pack orders securely into containers and organize them onto shelves according to truck routes.
Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: General knowledge of electrical products is preferred.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations to ensure accurate order completion.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a warehouse setting; Steel Toed Boots are required.

Communication: Strong ability to communicate with co-workers to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

Reliability: Excellent attendance record and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
