Job details
Job Title: Data Entry Operator
Location: Rockford, IL 61103
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: USD 17 to 18/ hr
Contract: 7 months
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of clerical, administrative, or data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
• Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle repetitive tasks
• SAP experience (ECC6 and/or S/4HANA) is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Enter and process transactions in ECC6 and SAP S/4HANA systems
• Create and manage sales orders, purchase orders, and related transactions
• Support transaction flow between systems and locations
• Validate data accuracy and ensure timely processing of transactions
• Monitor transaction queues and follow up on incomplete or failed entries
• Communicate with operations, customer service, and supply chain teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized records of transactions and issues
• Escalate system or process issues as needed
• Prepare and compile source data for computer entry
• Enter customer and account data accurately into systems
• Review, verify, and correct data as needed to maintain accuracy
