Kelly®  is seeking a Billing Specialist to work at a leading organization in Fargo, ND. Sound like something you’re interested in?

Pay Rate: $23.23 per hour

Shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm CST

What’s a typical day as Billing Specialist? You’ll be:

  • Facilitating end-to-end invoicing and cash application processes to support accurate and timely customer payments.

  • Partnering with internal teams and external customers to resolve billing discrepancies and research payment issues.

  • Processing accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing clients, cash receipts, customer deposits, and credit requests.

  • Examining and correcting accounting transactions for accuracy and preparing/posting journal entries.

  • Maintaining customer account balances, coordinating with customers and internal teams to resolve invoicing or collection issues.

  • Supporting reporting, process documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Reporting to the Billing and Cash Supervisor and collaborating with the Billing and Cash team.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have at least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related financial function (required).

  • Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline—or have an equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on AR/collections experience.

  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems and ask questions.

  • Possess ownership mindset and clear communication skills.

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office is a plus.
