Kelly Services is seeking a Junior Buyer/Planner for a full-time opportunity in Raynham, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career supply chain professional looking to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Junior Buyer/Planner will support purchasing, inventory, and production planning activities to help ensure materials and products are available to meet business and customer needs. This role will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to assist with order management, reporting, inventory tracking, and supply chain coordination.

The Junior Buyer/Planner will collaborate with departments including Manufacturing, Distribution, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Quality, and Regulatory, while also maintaining communication with vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing reports and supporting production planning activities

  • Monitor inventory levels and help maintain appropriate stock levels

  • Support purchase order creation, tracking, and updates within the ERP system

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and shortages

  • Help review and resolve backorders and supply issues

  • Track overdue purchase orders and assist with expediting materials when needed

  • Support inventory accuracy and material planning activities

  • Assist with supplier quote requests and data collection

  • Maintain accurate records and planning spreadsheets

  • Provide updates to internal stakeholders regarding inbound materials and supply concerns

  • Support spare parts planning and inventory activities

  • Assist with operational projects and other supply chain assignments as needed

  • Work collaboratively across departments to support day-to-day operations

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, inventory, or administrative support roles

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred

  • Experience working with ERP systems is a plus

  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Ability to work professionally and effectively under deadlines
