Construction Manager | Scranton, PA (onsite daily)
40+ hours per week | 6-Month Contract
 
Targeted pay rate: $100-105/hr depending upon qualification

Kelly Engineering is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee installation phases and ensure project success. This role manages low-voltage subcontractors, coordinates with internal teams, and works closely with general contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead low-voltage subcontractor scope, schedule, and installation for material handling systems

  • Deliver installation scope on time and within budget, aligned with Project Manager targets

  • Coordinate communication between client, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Support labor planning and quality control to meet schedule and budget goals

  • Manage scope, ensure contract compliance, and handle change orders

  • Track budgets, forecast costs, and prevent overruns

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans

What You’ll Need:

  • BS in Engineering (or equivalent)

  • 10+ years in construction/project management

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methods

  • Experience with industrial controls or related industries

  • Experience managing subcontractors and construction projects

Nice to Have:

  • Low-voltage installation knowledge (conduit, cabling, etc.)

  • Experience with MS Project or similar tools

  • Background in control systems, HMI, or MHE projects

  • Experience in distribution centers or intralogistics environments
