Job details
- Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools (such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions, make adjustments, and ensure quality standards
- Measure, examine, and test completed units for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work areas
- Document production and inspection results by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers to optimize machining processes
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Technical or associate’s degree in Mechanic, Tool & Die or any technical related field; or equivalent experience
- Good understanding of machining principles, tooling, and CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code)
- Ability to identify and resolve machining problems through program optimization and tooling selection.
- Understand and follow SOP work instructions
- Knowledge and use SPC/SOP software to collect and record measurements preferable.
- Available to work 12 hours shift Thursday to Saturday – or Tuesday to Saturday (day or night)
