Job Title: Procurement Clerk
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 6 Months
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Overview
The Procurement Clerk will support supplier set-ups and work closely with Global Business Services (GBS) teams to ensure smooth operations throughout the integration process.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier and GBS inquiries, prioritize based on urgency, and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate
- Respond directly to suppliers using established FAQs where possible
- Identify escalation points and route unresolved issues to responsible parties
- Build and maintain a responsible party directory
- Monitor inquiry flow through the central mailbox and track resolution progress
- Ensure disciplined follow-up with responsible parties to resolve inquiries promptly
- Perform daily and weekly reporting on inquiry status (total inquiries, total resolved, total in process)
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (Spanish is advantageous, strong English skills required)
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Previous customer-oriented work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
