Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team in Rapid City, South Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being a key player behind the scenes.
In this role, you’ll work closely with attorneys handling a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury and wrongful death cases, business and contract disputes, and professional defense matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage calendars, deadlines, appointments, and court-related scheduling

  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents in state and federal court

  • Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy case files

  • Coordinate travel, meetings, depositions, and conference calls

  • Transcribe attorney dictation

  • Prepare outgoing mail and assist with occasional deliveries

  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and outside contacts

  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with case workflows and trial preparation

  • Support daily office operations and administrative needs

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Previous legal administrative experience is a plus
