Position: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Pooler, GA
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Rotating 4 ON – 4 OFF, 6AM to 6PM


Who You Are:
You are a dedicated, detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety, organization, and efficiency. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you excel at cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling metal sheets into high-quality products, consistently meeting deadlines. You are not only reliable and able to multitask under pressure, but also skilled in reading blueprints, interpreting designs, and troubleshooting fabrication issues. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and always uphold rigorous safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Do:

  • Consult blueprints and work orders to safely produce sheet metal components

  • Select appropriate materials for each job based on specifications

  • Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions

  • Measure, cut, and weld pieces according to specifications, blueprints, or directions

  • Operate on assembly lines as assigned

  • Use machinery and related software applications to complete jobs

  • Coordinate shutdown and startup of equipment with other departments and maintenance

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

  • Perform related duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • A strong and uncompromising commitment to safety

  • Previous experience in custom sheet metal fabrication

  • Tig welding experience (asset)

  • Welding certificate from a recognized post-secondary institute (preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of turret punch laser combo & press brake

  • Proficient with hand tools, calipers, and measuring tapes

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, constructing products with precision

  • Skill in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Mechanically inclined, able to understand and adjust machines as needed

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to be a team player

  • Willing to obtain (in-house trained) forklift certification
