Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $13.50 – $16.50/hour

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

  • Pulling and preparing products for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and proper placement in shipping cartons

  • Placing labels on cartons in the correct orientation for system scanners

  • Selecting proper carton sizes for shipping and using portable scanning devices and Pick-To-Voice systems to confirm orders

  • Recording adjustments for short shipments, visually inspecting products, and properly packing shipments

  • Performing cycle counts and returning over-picks or mis-picks to inventory locations

  • Walking significant distances throughout your shift and maintaining quality control reports to monitor accuracy

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are capable of walking and standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly (must have)

  • Are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (must have)

  • Have previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience (preferred, but not required)

  • Are able to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
