Job details

Job Title: Stores Coordinator
Monday-Friday
Direct Hire
Pay: $22/hr-$25/hr.
Location: Rochester Hills, MI (May be asked to assist at Auburn Hills location as well. 5 minutes away)

Client open to training on some aspects of job.

Duties

  • Receive and unload freight using appropriate equipment or manual handling methods.

  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.

  • Record all inbound and outbound materials in the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Manage inventory transactions including:

    • Gate Entry (GE)

    • Goods Received Reports (GRR)

    • Requisitions

    • Issue Slips


  • Maintain organized physical storage areas and digital documentation records.

  • File inbound and outbound documentation in designated shared folders.

  • Assign and record storage locations for all materials.

  • Ensure traceability by following established documentation and inventory protocols.

  • Label all materials accurately before storage and maintain proper shelving practices.

  • Respond promptly and accurately to material-related inquiries.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for internal use or shipment.

  • Pack and prepare outbound shipments for transit.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/stores area.

  • Ensure all walkways and fire exits remain clear and unobstructed.

  • Collaborate with team members and support daily logistics and warehouse operations.

  • Report directly to the Stores & Logistics Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack or willing to learn.

  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of supply chain operations and inventory management best practices.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
