Event Coordinator / Development Coordinator
Position Summary: 

  • Manage all donor communications and inquiries to secure funding.

  • Collaborate with volunteer planning committees for team recruitment, logistics, marketing, and event support.

  • Provide administrative and coordination assistance for communications, website updates, and office operations.

  • Support event planning, execution, and material preparation with event managers.

  • Manage material inventory, order supplies, and track deliveries and signage.

  • Process confidential donations, prepare gift acknowledgments, and maintain data accuracy and reports.

  • Supervise and train assigned volunteers.

  • Coordinate direct mail, fundraising, donor cultivation, recognition activities, and special events.

  • Research prospects and networking opportunities for event growth.

  • Help maintain a positive organizational climate for staff and volunteers.

Necessary Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written communication skills, including proficiency in English grammar and spelling; able to draft accurate business correspondence.

  • Effective oral communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills; fosters teamwork and cooperation. Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus.

  • Proven reliability and attention to detail; skilled in maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating multiple projects.

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Maintains a professional presence and demeanor in person and over the phone with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Team-oriented, punctual, and understands the importance of reliable coverage for organizational success.

  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and collaboration skills.

  • Deadline-focused, with effective planning and time management for delivering results.

  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid confidence and time management skills.

Bachelors Degree Preferred and 2 Years Experience Preferred
