Material Handler – 1st & 2nd Shift

Location: 521 Northridge Park Dr, Rural Hall, NC 27045
Assignment Type: Short-Term Assignment – Approximately 3 Months
Pay:

  • 1st Shift: $16.00/hour

  • 2nd Shift: $17.00/hour

Kelly® is currently hiring dependable Material Handlers for a fast-paced warehouse operation in Rural Hall, North Carolina.

This is a short-term assignment expected to last approximately 3 months.

This position involves moving boxes of clothing throughout the warehouse, using pallet jacks or carts, breaking down empty boxes, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Shift Information

1st Shift

  • Typical schedule: 6:30 AM–4:30 PM

  • Hours may vary depending on the department and workload

  • $16.00/hour

2nd Shift

  • Typical schedule: 5:00 PM–3:00 AM

  • Hours may vary depending on the department and workload

  • $17.00/hour

Candidates must have schedule flexibility. Weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays, may be required depending on business needs and workload.

All scheduled hours are mandatory unless specifically instructed otherwise by management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Move boxes of clothing to designated warehouse areas using pallet jacks or carts

  • Load, unload, stage, and organize merchandise

  • Break down and dispose of empty boxes

  • Use a handheld scanning device when required

  • Verify and move products to the correct warehouse locations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies

  • Perform additional material handling and warehouse duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods

  • Perform repetitive wrist, finger, and hand movements

  • Bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the shift

  • Work in a physically demanding and fast-paced warehouse environment

Requirements

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to work the entire scheduled shift

  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required

  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

  • Warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required

Please note: Final shift hours may vary by department and will be confirmed prior to the start of the assignment. This assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months.
