This is a direct hire Production Planner, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their comprehensive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Production Planner to support the manufacturing and assembly operations focused on assembly and parts production. The ideal candidate will plan production jobs, develop job structures and routings, and work collaboratively with various departments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
•    Assess production demand by participating in team meetings and leveraging ERP data to generate work orders
•    Review, prepare, and route jobs within the ERP system, ensuring key action items are addressed and communicated effectively
•    Serve as a primary resource for resolving job structure queries within the department
•    Facilitate effective communication with the customer service team regarding order statuses
•    Collaborate with purchasing to drive material requirements planning through timely job creation for new assemblies and processing
•    Partner with manufacturing leads to develop job routers and support detailed production scheduling
•    Contribute to production calendar management and ensure schedules align with operational needs
•    Perform additional related duties as assigned to support broader team objectives

Required Experience:
•    At least 2 years in a similar production planning or similar role
•    Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office and ERP systems
•    Experience with production and employee scheduling within a manufacturing setting is preferred
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
